Today I picked up my baby from her fun 2 1/2 day visit with her Dad.
As he tried to strap her into her car seat she yelled at him to stop.

'Daddy! I'm hot!!! I want to take off my pants!!!'

Which she did.

Probably not behavior we want to encourage

and...

about 5 seconds after we had pulled on to I-15 she said to me,

'Mommy! I'm going to pee in 3 seconds!'


I'm so using this against her when she is 15.

Location: Macey's grocery store.

Me: What kind of ice cream should we get your brother and cousin?
Raspberry: Not brown
Me: Ok. Not brown. What kind then?
Nice older gentleman (mid 60's): (walking up to pick out ice cream - talking to Raspberry) Well hi there. It's so hard to pick ice cream isn't it?
Raspberry: (Big eyes, pointing right at the nice man) Mom! Are you going to marry him? Mom! You can't marry him, we already have two grandpa's.
Me: (warning eyes at raspberry who pretended to be oblivious)
Raspberry: What?
Nice older gentleman: um... have a nice day.

She has been banned from all grocery shopping until she is eight. And don't be fooled by that sweet innocent smile. She knows what she's doing.

Is this really a good idea?

Brax took this photo yesterday on the freeway at about 75 mph. The bottom box on the left side was sliding out as we drove past.

I think I would have recommended two trips.

because, really, if you are going to eat well, why not go all out? I gobbled down my JDawg w/banana peppers, special sauce (a MUST) and pickles. (Actually I get the pickle because I can eat that separately. I eat the banana peppers separately too...hmmm weird). Then I licked off the delicious icing on my Va'nie'la cupcake. Every fat laden, sugary, animal by-products bite was SO GOOD.

There are some things in life that you just have to eat.
